Professional statement

Hello, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, where I developed a strong foundation in relational dynamics, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based interventions.

My work is centered on helping adults and couples navigate anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I specialize in trauma-informed DBT, supporting clients who may appear high-functioning on the outside while feeling emotionally exhausted, reactive, or stuck internally.

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, grounded, and compassionate. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported as they build insight, develop practical skills, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and my priority is to help you feel safe, supported, and at ease from the very beginning. Our initial sessions focus on understanding your background, current stressors, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This allows us to create a clear and personalized path forward together.

My approach is structured yet flexible. I often incorporate trauma-informed DBT skills to help clients regulate emotions, manage distress, and improve communication and relationships. When helpful, I may use brief assessments to better understand patterns impacting your mental health and overall well-being.

Progress in therapy looks different for everyone. Together, we will set realistic, meaningful goals and move at a pace that feels respectful of your needs. Over time, many clients notice increased emotional awareness, improved coping, and a greater sense of balance and control in their daily lives.
