Message to clients

Being understood is a deeply human need that can affect every aspect of our lives. I believe that each of us is the expert on our own experiences and concerns, and that the role of a counselor is to help guide clients in their own journey towards the resolution of those concerns or overall growth and self-betterment. I am a passionately LGBTQ+/ queer affirming counselor and will always work towards creating a safe environment for all identities and experiences. Through counseling, I will aim to work collaboratively with you to build skills to foster resiliency that will serve you throughout your life.

As a clinician, I have experience working with all ages with a wide variety of concerns. I approach counseling from an eclectic lens, focusing on humanistic relationship-building, DBT-informed practices, mindfulness training, and existentialist questioning to help clients with depression, anxiety, relationship/ communication issues, and identity exploration.

For many people, beginning counseling is a scary process! If you are struggling, the first step of reaching out is often a difficult barrier. I would be honored to come alongside you in this process. My aim as a counselor is to support and encourage you no matter where you are in your journey and to create a space for my clients to feel safe and supported.
