Heather Navarro is a licensed clinical social worker in southern California. She works with individuals and adults 24+ in California, Utah, and Colorado. Many of Heather’s clients come in to address anxiety, self-doubt, and history of trauma. She also has advanced training in the area of OCD and dissociation. Heather is particularly passionate about serving women who are spiritually aligned and ready to heal.
Heather is trained in EMDR, hypnotherapy, CBT, yoga, and spiritually focused therapy. These interventions allow for calming the mind and body and giving one the presence and introspection needed for deep healing work. She also uses a combination of breathing techniques, dreamwork, journaling, movement, working with the inner child, bringing in oracle and tarot cards for further interpretation. These approaches are supportive to clients who are looking to be held and nurtured in their healing and introspective work.
Heather's style is calming, intuitively aligned, and using thought-provoking questions. When clients first start therapy, we will work to understand your past history and set goals together.
Heather received their MSW from University of Denver. She has worked at community clinics working with individuals and families. Outside of private practice, she enjoys being in her backyard with her partner and their pet family. They enjoy exploring nature, traveling and connecting together and with the environment.
