Isabel's core commitment as a counselor is to affirm your autonomy and to be a witness to your growth and meaning making in your life. Isabel uses metaphor and thought experiment to teach practical skills in emotional regulation and distress tolerance. She practices mind-body techniques to identify how emotions and experiences show up in the body as well as the mind. She is a guide to finding rich meaning in your experiences, to building connection to your community, and to making changes that are significant to you.

I am a justice-oriented, queer/trans-affirming counselor serving teens and adults. I specialize in OCD and anxiety, approaching with curiosity and care. Having lived with an OCD diagnosis for most of my own life, I am honored to work from lived experience using evidence-based practices.
