Professional statement

Iyesha Bush, MA, LPCC, is a trauma-informed telehealth therapist serving adults and teens (12+) throughout Ohio. She specializes in helping individuals who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by depression, impacted by trauma, or stuck in difficult life transitions regain stability, clarity, and confidence.

With experience in crisis intervention, psychiatric emergency assessment, outpatient behavioral health, and intensive addiction treatment settings, Iyesha is especially skilled at supporting clients during high-stress and emotionally complex periods. She brings a calm, steady presence to therapy — creating a space where clients feel safe enough to explore what they’re carrying and strong enough to begin meaningful change.

Iyesha integrates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused techniques, to help clients understand patterns, regulate emotions, and build practical coping strategies that extend beyond the therapy session. Her goal is not just symptom relief, but long-term emotional resilience and empowerment.

Clients who work with Iyesha often appreciate her grounded approach, her ability to remain composed in difficult moments, and her commitment to helping them move forward with greater stability and self-trust.

Message to clients

Hello, I am Iyesha.

Reaching out for therapy can feel hard, especially if you’ve been carrying anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or stress on your own for a long time. You don’t have to navigate it alone.

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) providing trauma-informed telehealth therapy to adults and teens (12+) across Ohio. With experience in crisis intervention, outpatient behavioral health, and addiction treatment settings, I bring both clinical knowledge and steady support to the work we do together.

I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck in painful patterns, or unsure how to move forward after difficult life experiences. Whether you’re managing anxiety, processing trauma, coping with depression, or navigating a major life transition, my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and safe.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing. Together, we’ll build practical coping tools, increase emotional resilience, and help you move toward greater clarity and confidence in your daily life.

Healing doesn’t require you to have everything figured out. It begins with having a safe place to start.
