Professional statement

Jacklyn uses telehealth to offer adults (older teens to geriatrics) individual and couples/relationship counseling. They use the Gottman Method (Level 2) to help couples strengthen their connection, handle life's ups and downs, and learn to like and trust each other again. Jacklyn is kink- and polyamory-affirming and focuses on creating a disability-affirming, LGBTQIA+-friendly space.

Jacklyn (she/they) is a Resident in Counseling (VA) under the supervision of Megan Green, MA, LPC, LCPC. Jacklyn has a masters degree in psychology from West Texas A&M University and a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling from Capella University. She has worked in counseling and mental health in a variety of settings (and several states) since 2013.

Message to clients

Healing happens when you can bring your whole self – your experiences, your identity, and your feelings – into a space where you feel seen, supported, and valued.

I specialize in affirming, client-centered therapy for LGBTQIA+ communities and have extensive experience working with nonmonogamous and kink populations. My approach is compassionate, practical, and rooted in evidence-based care.

Through telehealth, I offer individual counseling and couples therapy using the Gottman Method (Level 2) to help partners deepen connection and build the relationships they want. I also provide Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy for OCD, supporting clients as they learn tools to reduce anxiety, break free from cycles of fear, and live more fully.
