You may find yourself cycling through anxiety, and self-doubt; a sense of confusion about life as it is. You might finally feel ready to process unresolved past experiences. My patients come to therapy seeking to feel more alive and less stuck. Some of my patients are professionals and first generation college students, while others are involved in the arts. I help people navigate the internal doubt that can come with life transitions, relationship conflicts, and trauma histories. I provide psychodynamic therapy to adults and adolescents for long-term personality change and symptom relief, beyond what CBT therapy can provide.
I help patients find relief from depression and anxiety by exploring how patterns of thought and emotion shape their lives. I'm guided by my cross-cultural background and psychoanalytic education, and work from the research-backed tenet that the strength of the therapist-patient relationship serves as the bedrock of psychological change and progress.
I believe therapy should be a grounding, nonjudgmental experience where you can speak freely and hear yourself think in new ways.
