Professional statement

Jeanne Kimble, LMHC, helps functioning and high-functioning adults who are ready to get past their past and heal the root source of anxiety and mood problems, trauma and cPTSD. The symptoms inherent in problems with mood and anxiety may include excessive people-pleasing, over-thinking, panic, compulsive or adhd-like behaviors and intrusive thoughts, low mood and high negativity, feeling like you're too much or not enough. Therapy clients have often experienced emotional abuse or neglect, a chaotic home or other adverse experiences in childhood Client may find that their inner struggles are impacting their work, health or relationships and generally holding them back from having a richer, more satisfying life.

Ms. Kimble has a deep understanding of client concerns and combines a powerful approach that can effectively treat problems from the past AND help to build the new neural pathways that will create and sustain a better future. Her current clinical work draws from training and studies in psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment theory, EMDR and trauma treatment, affective neurobiology, mindfulness-based CBT and Buddhist psychology.

Jeanne's background includes over 30 years of work with children, adults, seniors and families in private agency, non-profit and government settings. Licensed as a mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington since 2015, she currently provides individual, online therapy to adults in Washington State.
