Jessica works primarily with teenagers and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity development, family stress, and self-esteem challenges. Many of her clients are thoughtful individuals who are trying to better understand themselves while building confidence, emotional regulation skills, and a clearer sense of direction. Jessica creates a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can slow down, feel heard, and explore what’s going on beneath the surface. Together, sessions focus on helping clients feel more grounded, capable, and empowered to move toward meaningful goals.
Jessica’s therapy style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. She believes therapy works best when clients feel comfortable showing up as their authentic selves—even when things feel messy or uncertain. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based practices to help clients identify patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Sessions often focus on building practical coping skills, strengthening self-awareness, and learning how to respond to challenges with greater clarity and confidence. Her approach balances compassion with gentle accountability, supporting growth while honoring each client’s unique pace.
Jessica earned her BA in Psychology from Salve Regina University and her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University. Her clinical experience includes neurodivergent-affirming practice, in-home crisis work with children and families, and trauma-informed counseling in partial hospitalization programs. These roles have given her a strong understanding of family systems, trauma-informed care, and the unique needs of youth and young adults.
Jessica provides secure telehealth therapy across Connecticut through the Headway platform and offers evening and weekend appointments, along with a free 15-minute consultation to help determine if it feels like a good fit.
