Professional statement

Jessica works with people navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship stress, and identity development. Many of her clients are individuals who often feel stuck in overthinking, pressure, burnout, or uncertainty while trying to balance everyday life. She creates a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, feel genuinely understood, and explore what’s going on beneath the surface at your own pace. Sessions focus on helping you feel more grounded, confident, emotionally aware, and connected to yourself in a meaningful way.

Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and down-to-earth. Jessica believes therapy should feel human, not overly clinical, and values creating a space where clients feel comfortable showing up authentically, even when life feels messy or overwhelming. She integrates CBT, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and strengths-based approaches to help clients better understand patterns, navigate anxiety and emotional stress, and build practical tools that feel realistic and sustainable outside of session.

Jessica earned her BA in Psychology from Salve Regina University and her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University. Her clinical background includes trauma-informed counseling, neurodivergent-affirming care, PHP/IOP settings, and intensive in-home work supporting children, teens, and families through crisis intervention and emotional regulation challenges.

She offers secure telehealth sessions across Connecticut and Florida through Headway, with flexible evening and weekend availability. Free 15-minute consultation calls are available to help determine whether the fit feels right.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, uncomfortable, and honestly a little intimidating at first. Opening up to someone new about the parts of your life that feel overwhelming, confusing, or painful is not easy, and I never expect you to have everything figured out before we begin. You do not need the “right” words, a perfect explanation, or even a clear starting point. We will work through it together at a pace that feels supportive and manageable for you.

My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely safe, understood, and able to show up as your full self without fear of judgment. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in authentic human connection. I deeply value your experiences, your insight, and the trust it takes to allow someone into your inner world.

I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and practical support that extends beyond session. Together, we explore patterns that may no longer be serving you while also honoring the ways they once helped you cope and protect yourself. My goal is not to “fix” you, but to help you better understand yourself, strengthen emotional resilience, and reconnect with the version of yourself that feels more grounded, confident, and aligned. Above all, I want you to leave sessions feeling supported, empowered, and a little less alone in what you are carrying.
