Professional statement

With over 16 years of experience as a clinical psychologist, I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate the pressures of modern life while maintaining balance and fulfillment. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The College of William and Mary and trained at Vanderbilt University. My expertise has also led to consulting opportunities, including serving as a trusted expert for NBC’s Today Show.

I take a whole-person approach to therapy, conducting a thorough assessment of both physiological and psychological factors that may be affecting your well-being. Together, we will examine areas such as sleep, nutrition, activity level, family history, relationships, occupational stress, and coping skills—all of which play a critical role in mental health. My goal is to help you uncover the root causes of stress, anxiety, or dissatisfaction and develop a plan that aligns with your values and priorities.

Whether you're seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, burnout, or simply striving for personal growth, I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe therapy should be both practical and meaningful. My approach blends compassionate insight with actionable strategies so you can begin making tangible progress—whether that means setting boundaries, healing from past experiences, or rediscovering joy in your daily life. Let’s work together to move toward a more grounded, resilient, and fulfilling version of yourself.

Message to clients

My pursuit of excellence in mental health care has been honed through extensive specialized training, including an internship and residency at Vanderbilt. I believe that seeking mental health care is a deserving investment in oneself and it is imperative to demand personalized, specialized treatment.

Many of my clients are high-achieving professionals, parents, and couples who have spent years meeting the expectations of others while losing sight of their own needs. They feel depleted, stretched too thin, and disconnected from the life they once envisioned. When left unaddressed, this imbalance can lead to burnout, addiction, depression, and anxiety. I guide clients in stepping back, reassessing priorities, and restoring a sense of clarity and purpose—without neglecting the responsibilities they care about most.

At the core of my therapeutic approach is a commitment to understanding the multifaceted nature of each individual and the unique challenges they face. To this end, I take a comprehensive approach to assessment, taking into consideration not just psychological, but also physiological factors such as sleep, nutrition, activity level, and more.

If you're looking for an honest, no-nonsense conversation about life, you've come to the right place. My clients appreciate my direct, candid approach to navigating challenges in work, marriage, family dynamics, and personal fulfillment. If you’re ready for real talk and meaningful change, I offer virtual video sessions for your convenience.
