Professional statement

Dr. Judy Rachael Silberkleit is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years of experience. She is also a Certified Life Coach.

As a Psychologist, she has provided psychological services to adults experiencing generalized anxiety, panic disorder and panic attacks, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, relationship difficulties, stress, and life transitions such as divorce. She offers a collaborative and thoughtful therapeutic process grounded in strong clinical training and a genuine therapeutic relationship.

Dr. Silberkleit places particular emphasis on rapport, trust, and open dialogue. She creates a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable addressing difficult issues honestly. Her approach integrates cognitive-behavioral principles with insight and structured problem solving, including strengthening motivation for behavioral goals such as exercise and health-related routines.

In addition to treating anxiety and mood disorders, she works with clients on self-esteem, assertiveness, dating and relationship challenges, co-parenting, and rebuilding after divorce.

She holds degrees in Psychology from New York University. She is licensed in Connecticut and New York and holds PsyPact authorization to provide telehealth services in 40 participating states.

In addition to her clinical practice, she offers Life Coaching as a separate, private-pay service focused on starting over after divorce, dating and relationship issues, working through anxious attachment patterns, strengthening follow-through with personal and exercise goals, and building clarity and confidence in a new chapter of life.

Dr. Silberkleit is a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society and was an NYU Trustee Scholar. On a personal note, she has long supported Special Olympics and dog rescue groups.
