Professional statement

Julia Leonard, MS, LPC-S is a counselor serving Burleson, TX for in-person sessions and the entire state of Texas for virtual sessions. I have been in practice for over 15 years. I was voted best of Crowley 3 years in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

I have experience working for individuals, couples, and families. I have experience with life transitions, grief and loss, infertility, post-partum, depression, anxiety, ADHD, marriage, loss of job, communication difficulties, LGBTQ, and many other life difficulties. I will spend the first session getting to know you and creating a treatment plan that is individualized to your needs. I want to do what works best for you and not just follow a pre-determined plan. I understand that looking for a counselor can be difficult and I want to make the process work for you.

Julia Leonard, MS, LPC-S serves clients ages 12+. She has been in practice since 2008. She has worked for several agencies before starting her own practice in 2025. She uses several different approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and psychoeducational approaches. The therapy is determined by your situation.

Mrs. Leonard is the owner of B C Counseling, PLLC located at 295 E. Renfro, Burleson, TX 76028. We are located on the 3rd floor in the Regus offices. There is an elevator up to the 3rd floor. The elevator is located behind the water fountain that faces the parking lot. The receptionist will let us know that you are here.

Message to clients

Life can be hard. Life has many unexpected twists and turns. Sometimes just the regular day to day is difficult without any unexpected events. I look forward to working with you on your personal journey. I am here to help you reach your goals.

At our first session, I want to spend time getting to know you and your goals. After that, we will develop a plan together to help you with your life circumstances. For some people, this involves weekly sessions. For other, weekly sessions are not possible. I can be flexible. Again, I am here to make things better for you, not to give you more pressure.

Thank you for considering me. I offer free phone consultations if you have any questions.
