Hi, I’m Katrina. I’m a Mental Health Counselor committed to creating a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe exploring your emotions and life experiences. As a Black therapist, I value creating an environment where clients of all backgrounds feel seen, heard, respected, and culturally understood. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely comfortable and supported, and I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership.
I work with adolescents and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem, and emotional overwhelm. Many of the clients I work with are new to therapy or are looking for a space where they can slow down, reflect, and better understand themselves without pressure or judgment.
My approach is compassionate, curious, and collaborative. I draw from several therapeutic approaches and work together with you to determine what feels most helpful and supportive in our sessions. My goal is to help you build self-awareness, honor and accept your emotions, and understand how past and present experiences shape your inner world and relationships.
Clients often describe me as an empathetic and engaged listener who creates a genuine space for open and honest conversations. If you’re ready to begin therapy or are curious about whether we might be a good fit, I’d be happy to connec
