Lauren is a graduate from The Family Institute at Northwestern University with a wide range of experience helping late adolescents and adults navigate job stress, anxiety, depression, substance use, grief/loss, trauma, LGBTQIA+ identities, relationship concerns and many other life challenges. Her goal is to combine a warm, supportive, and down-to-earth space with evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches to support you and your therapy goals.
Lauren is known to bring to each session times for goofiness and laughter, along with creativity, mindfulness, and self-reflection. She utilizes a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a Person-Centered Positive approach, incorporation of mind/body connection, meditation, and tools for healthy life balance. She also knows how important it is to be mindful to tailor the approach to fit you and your unique needs.
