Dr. Lex Uehline, Ph.D. (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise providing culturally competent and evidenced-based psychotherapy to adults. She specializes in the treatment of identity concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, life transitions, interpersonal challenges, family of origin issues, including estrangement and no-contact.

Recognizing mental health and well-being as inseparable from our social and cultural environment, Lex strives to foster a safe and supportive therapeutic space that harnesses the power of authenticity and collaboration to promote growth and change. Grounded in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, Lex integrates a relational, emotion-focused, and somatic-based approach to counseling. Bringing compassion and warmth, Lex adapts to the uniqueness of each client, while continuing to support resilience-building, leveraging strengths, and gaining coping skills to navigate life’s challenges.

Lex earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University. She integrates a culturally aware and justice-oriented perspective in her clinical practice, as well as in her research that has focused on the intersection of race, culture, and mental health.

Operating a virtual practice, Lex sees clients residing in the state of New York and Utah. She has availability to see clients in the mornings, early afternoons, and some evenings.
