Professional statement

Mr. England's areas of specialization include the treatment of anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, ADHD, ASD, life transitions, and grief. He is also committed to working with historically oppressed groups and marginalized individuals. He frequently works with individuals who identify as part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community on a variety of issues including gender exploration and affirmation.

Logan is a strongly relational and holistic therapist who believes that respect for a client's autonomy and a cultural understanding of their environment are critical to the therapeutic process. He understands that wellness and healing look different for each client. Logan enjoys getting to know his clients and understanding how they want to embody their values throughout their lives.

Logan believes in empowering clients with the tools to continue their self reflection and make long lasting changes outside of the therapy room. He will often provide resources and the occasional “homework” for clients to practice coping skills, reflect on their emotional experiences, and explore meaning in between sessions.

Message to clients

I believe that the primary goal of a therapy relationship is for people to feel better about where they in their lives. It's as simple as that. You are valid and worthy just as you are. The purpose of therapy isn't to make you conform, to meet other's expectations, or to be someone or something other than who you are. Therapy encourages healing, reflection, and should help you become the version of you that makes YOU happy. Life is a complex journey, and along the path people may experience trauma, anxiety, depression and other symptoms as they grow through each phase of life.

I strive to create a warm, authentic connection with my clients based on our shared humanity. I bring my genuine self to sessions and engage with clients around their hopes for therapy as well as their interests, sense of humor, creativity and imagination. I work collaboratively with clients to identify goals and develop a roadmap for therapy. Each individual must decide what wellness looks like for them and I support this process without judgment.

My approach is relational, eclectic, and wholistic. We are entering into a collaboration towards your goals and needs. I use aspects of CBT, ACT and Narrative Therapy to support my clients in their journeys and transitions through life. Together we will create a safe and affirming space for you to explore your needs with curiosity and empathy.
