Marcelle Little is a trauma-informed psychotherapist who works with adults navigating people-pleasing patterns, relationship stress, trauma, and major life transitions. Many of her clients are thoughtful, capable, and high-functioning on the outside, yet internally feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in self-doubt, or exhausted from over-giving in relationships. These struggles often intensify during seasons of change—relocation, identity shifts, breakups, family conflict, pregnancy or new parenting, or other life transitions—when old coping strategies stop working and anxiety, depression, or burnout can take hold.
Marcelle’s approach is holistic, relational, and grounded in nervous system regulation. Therapy integrates depth-oriented exploration with practical, body-based tools—helping you understand how your mind, body, and attachment patterns respond to stress, and how to create more emotional steadiness day to day. She draws from EMDR and trauma-informed care, as well as somatic practices, mindfulness, breathwork, and skills for boundary-setting and secure communication.
Clients often come to Marcelle feeling “too much,” responsible for everyone else’s emotions, or unsure how to honor their own needs without guilt. Together, you’ll explore family dynamics, emotional triggers, and the relational environments that shaped these patterns—while also building concrete strategies to help you feel calmer in your body, clearer in your choices, and more connected in your relationships.
Marcelle’s first priority is helping you feel safe, heard, and respected as an equal partner in the therapeutic process. She offers online therapy for adults in California and Florida, and brings a globally-informed perspective as a clinician also registered with the BACP in the UK. She offers a free 15-minute Zoom consultation and flexible weekday morning/afternoon and Sunday appointments.
