Dr. Margaret Dorfman is a clinical psychologist and the founder of Raspberry Health, a practice where mental health meets brain health. She works with adults and older adults who may be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or mentally foggy—and those who are navigating life transitions, health challenges, or simply want to feel more like themselves again.
Her approach is warm, thoughtful, and personalized. Dr. Dorfman blends talk therapy with practical strategies that support emotional and cognitive wellbeing. She draws from evidence-based therapies—like CBT, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based approaches—while also attending to lifestyle factors like sleep, nutrition, movement, and stress.
Dr. Dorfman completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital’s Department of Neurology, where she specialized in treating individuals with multiple sclerosis and co-occurring anxiety, depression, and cognitive changes. She brings this holistic lens to her work with patients managing chronic illness, burnout, or early memory concerns.
Raspberry Health offers both in-person sessions in New York City and virtual appointments for adults across New York State. If you’re feeling stuck, struggling, or simply looking for support that connects both mind and body, Dr. Dorfman provides care that’s compassionate, science-informed, and centered around you.
