Professional statement

Marta brings over 20+ years of experience supporting adults struggling with all forms of anxiety. For the past decade, she has specialized in treating OCD-related symptoms, chronic stress, and self-doubt, challenges commonly faced by individuals working in the arts, entertainment industry, and other high-demand professions.

Her approach integrates CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) to create lasting change. By helping clients master emotional self-regulation, challenge intrusive thoughts, and apply practical tools from the start, Marta offers an effective, skills-based path toward becoming one’s best self. Her style is down-to-earth and collaborative, with an emphasis on demystifying psychological concepts so clients understand why specific techniques work.

Marta’s clinical experience spans hospitals, correctional departments, corporate settings, and the Entertainment Industry. Originally from Barcelona, Spain, she began her career working with youth and families from low-income backgrounds. In Oregon, she built a thriving multi-contract private practice, where she also supervised and managed other clinicians. After relocating to Los Angeles, she deepened her focus on high-pressure careers, particularly those that fuel the inner conflict between success and imposter syndrome. Her clients include artists/creatives, attorneys, tech professionals, educators, healthcare workers, and entertainment industry executives.

Dedicated to clinical excellence, Marta consistently engages in ongoing training and consultation with leading experts in her field. Her commitment to continued learning ensures her work remains grounded in current research, providing clients with the most effective, evidence-based strategies to regain control and move forward with confidence.

Message to clients

Hi,

I'm so glad you're reading this. Reaching out for support can be one of the hardest steps, and the fact that you're even considering it means something important, you’re ready for change, or at least curious about what’s possible. And that’s more than enough to start.

The first steps can feel like a lot, so let’s walk through what to expect: We’ll start with a free 10-minute phone consultation to get a sense of what you’re looking for, and for you to ask me any questions about how I work. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule a 50-minute intake session where we’ll go over your background and create a game plan with clear goals. That helps us stay focused and track your progress along the way.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, grounded, and results-oriented, focused on helping you move forward in a way that feels both supportive and effective. Think of me as a collaborator in this process, not someone with all the answers, but someone who’s here to help you find yours. Remember: Therapy isn’t forever; you’re in control of how long we work together. We can go at your pace, and I’ll always check in to make sure the work we’re doing is meaningful for you. My hope is that you leave each session feeling more empowered, more centered, and more in charge of your life.

Ready when you are.
