Professional statement

Melissa DeLuca is based in Providence, Rhode Island, where she brings a unique, integrative approach to mental health and wellness. As a clinically trained social worker, a certified personal trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), and a registered USA boxer, Melissa combines her expertise in psychotherapy with her passion for fitness and boxing.

Her work blends therapeutic techniques with physical activity and program development to support mental health, enhance emotional well-being, and foster personal growth. By incorporating movement into the therapeutic process, Melissa helps individuals build a more positive and empowered relationship with their bodies and overall health.

In addition to her integrative approach, Melissa offers in-office sessions for clients who prefer a more traditional therapy setting.

Melissa is dedicated to providing counseling, guidance, and mentorship to both adolescents and adults, supporting them in navigating challenges and achieving meaningful, lasting change.
