Nancy is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with over a decade of experience supporting adolescents and adults through life’s challenges, transitions, and moments of uncertainty. She works with adults (18+) navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and major life changes, providing a compassionate and supportive environment where clients can feel understood, grounded, and empowered to create meaningful change.
Nancy’s background in social work has shaped her culturally responsive and inclusive approach to therapy. Her experience includes providing care through community-based organizations, underserved NYC public schools, the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS), and the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). These experiences have deepened her understanding of the many personal, cultural, and systemic factors that influence mental health and well-being.
Nancy’s therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. She integrates evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care to help clients better understand themselves, navigate emotions, strengthen relationships, and develop tools that support lasting growth.
Clients working with Nancy can expect a steady and nonjudgmental partner who will meet them where they are while helping them move toward their goals. She offers individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and care coordination, tailoring each session to each client’s unique needs, pace, and lived experience.
