Professional statement

I am a psychotherapist offering Buddhist-informed, trauma-informed therapy for adults who feel deeply, think deeply, and are seeking a more grounded and compassionate way of relating to themselves and their experiences.

Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or a sense of disconnection from themselves or their lives. Often, they already have insight into their patterns, but are looking for support in creating meaningful, embodied change.

My approach integrates evidence-based therapies with mindfulness, contemplative psychology, and an attuned, relational style. Together, we slow down and work at a pace that feels safe and manageable, creating space to explore difficult experiences while building greater stability, clarity, and self-compassion.

While my work is informed by Buddhist psychology, no prior meditation experience or spiritual background is required. I meet each person where they are and tailor our work to their unique needs and goals.

I offer virtual therapy for adults located in Maryland and Washington, DC.

Message to clients

I know that reaching out for therapy can take courage, especially if you’re used to holding a lot on your own.

If you are somebody who feels deeply, thinks deeply, and are longing for a kinder, more sustainable way of relating to themselves, we may be a good fit. You may already have some insight into what’s happening — but a desire for that understanding to translate into real change. It can be difficult to get unstuck on your own, and I'm here to support you in clarifying that wisdom that is already within you and help it manifest more fully in your life.

Our work together is collaborative and paced with care. We slow down, make space for what is present, and gently explore new ways of relating to difficult thoughts, emotions, and patterns.

Over time, this work can support greater steadiness, clarity, and self-compassion — not by forcing change, but by allowing something new to emerge.

If this resonates, you’re welcome to reach out. We can explore together whether this feels like a good fit. I have lots of options on my website including groups, so please feel free to investigate my offerings and see what feels right for you. I look forward to connecting with you soon.
