I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) who works with children, adolescents, and adults. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, gender identity concerns, trauma-related challenges, high stress, and periods of crisis or major life transitions. Many of the individuals I work with are seeking a supportive space to feel understood, build coping skills, and move toward greater emotional stability and resilience.
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed and client-centered. I believe past experiences play a significant role in how we cope with emotional pain and life’s stressors, and I work collaboratively with clients to better understand these patterns. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. When working with children, I incorporate Play Therapy and am currently pursuing my Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential.
I have over six years of clinical experience working across multiple levels of care, including inpatient treatment, PHP/IOP programs, crisis services, outpatient settings, and school environments. This diverse background allows me to support clients with a wide range of concerns and to meet them at varying levels of need.
My goal in counseling is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and attentive environment where clients feel comfortable being authentic and vulnerable. I offer both in-person and remote therapy sessions through Exceptional Wellness Counseling, providing flexible options to support clients throughout their therapeutic journey.
