Professional statement

Patricia is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a rich background in both education and mental health. Prior to entering the field of therapy, she spent over ten years serving as a professional school counselor, working with students across a wide range of ages. This experience gave her valuable insight into the emotional and developmental challenges individuals face throughout life, shaping the empathetic and collaborative approach she brings to her work today.

Patricia finds great fulfillment in helping others make meaningful progress in their lives. She values the opportunity to walk alongside her clients as they share their stories, navigate obstacles, and develop greater self-awareness. Through this work, she continues to grow in her own understanding of human resilience and emotional well-being.

She specializes in supporting individuals who are working through life transitions, coping with anxiety or depression, or striving to build healthier self-esteem. Watching clients gain confidence, reach their goals, and experience real transformation is what she finds most rewarding. Patricia believes that therapy is a collaborative process that requires openness, consistency, and courage—and she is committed to offering a safe, respectful, and confidential environment where growth and healing can take place.

Message to clients

I truly believe that healing and growth are possible when you’re given the right support and tools. Every person’s story matters, and my hope is to help you reconnect with your strengths, gain new insight, and move forward with more confidence and peace. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I consider it an honor to be a part of your journey.

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own life experiences, particularly as the spouse of a retired Army veteran. During his 23 years of service, I saw the emotional impact that military life had on our family, especially on our children during repeated deployments. That time in our lives opened my eyes to the silent struggles so many individuals and families carry. It inspired me to dedicate myself to helping others navigate difficult seasons with greater resilience, compassion, and clarity.

I work with WellQor, a mental health practice that supports clients through a personalized and team-based approach. If you’re interested in starting therapy with me, please visit WellQor’s website and complete the "Get Started" form. Once submitted, a member of the front office team will reach out to guide you through the next steps and answer any questions you may have.
