Professional statement

Rebekah Clauson specializes in working with individuals who are navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, perfectionism, eating concerns, and life transitions. She is passionate about supporting clients who may feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, self-criticism, or difficulties in relationships, and she offers a compassionate space for them to explore new ways of relating to themselves and others. Rebekah also has experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults, and she is particularly drawn to helping those who struggle with high expectations and pressure to achieve. Rebekah also loves working with mom's navigating the challenges in motherhood.

Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s needs, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Rebekah’s style is warm, collaborative, and practical—she focuses on empowering clients with tools they can use both in and outside of sessions. She values creating a balance of structured skill-building and open exploration, encouraging clients to align with their values and build healthier, more meaningful connections.

Rebekah holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She has worked in both residential and outpatient settings, giving her a strong foundation in addressing a wide range of mental health concerns. Her background includes facilitating groups, providing individual therapy, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, which enriches her perspective and ability to meet clients where they are.

She offers telehealth sessions to meet the needs of diverse clients. Her office is located in a convenient, private space designed to be welcoming and calm, and she is also available for remote therapy sessions for clients located anywhere in the state. Rebekah strives to make therapy accessible and flexible, offering daytime and limited evening appointments.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I want you to know that you don’t have to have everything figured out before coming in. My hope is that our time together will give you a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself without judgment. Whether you come in with clear goals or are simply looking for a place to talk through what’s been weighing on you, we will work together at a pace that feels right for you.

I believe therapy is most effective when it feels collaborative. I’ll bring tools, skills, and perspectives to our sessions, but your experiences, values, and insights will always guide the work we do. My hope is that through our time together, you’ll feel more connected to yourself, more confident in navigating challenges, and more empowered to build a life that feels meaningful to you.

Most importantly, you don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to walk alongside you, and I look forward to supporting you in your growth and healing.
