Professional statement

Renese’s approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based approach that focuses on helping clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, so that they can begin to make targeted change. Renese also utilizes a person-centered approach that fosters self-accepts and empowerment. She works to help clients understand their physical response to external stressors, and begin to problem-solve ways to introduce moments of calm, to choose to respond rather than react in the face of change.

Many of Renese’s clients navigate feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression that have become overwhelming, and impact how they show up at work and in relationships. She works with clients to explore core beliefs about themselves, others, and the systems they exist within, co-creating practical strategies tailored to each client and their life journey.

Message to clients

Therapy is about you, your freedom, and the healing that occurs through self-exploration, understanding, finding meaning, and deepening one's insight. My role is to help you begin to think, feel, and understand yourself more deeply, allowing lasting change. If you’re feeling "stuck", "tired", "lost", "confused" about life's challenges, whether in relationships, work, or personal life, you're not alone. I believe true change begins with understanding where our beliefs come from and how they shape the way we think, feel, and respond to life. As we explore the roots of those belief systems, you can begin to make intentional choices that support healthier perspectives, and a stronger sense of purpose.
