Message to clients

Hello, Therapy Seeker! Starting therapy is a big deal, and honestly? The fact that you made it this far past the "maybe I should talk to someone" phase, through the anxiety of actually looking means you've already done something hard. Seriously. I know reaching out isn't easy, and I don't take it for granted that you're here. It's not easy to search through the mire of listings for therapists.

I want you to know upfront that this is not that therapy where you lie on a couch while I nod slowly and ask how that makes you feel. We're going to actually do things together working on practical and interactive tools and solutions. Whether that's using EMDR to help your nervous system process what talk therapy alone can't touch, tools you can use the moment you walk out the door, or figuring out why the coping skills everyone swears by just aren't working for your brain. You don't need the perfect words or a tidy summary of your trauma. You just need to be willing to try something, and I'll meet you there.

Whether you're a gamer, a high-masker, someone who's tried therapy before and hated it, or someone who just finally ran out of other options. I've worked with all of you ages 10+ for a long time. My hope is that by the time we're done, you trust yourself a little more than you did when we started. Anxiety doesn't have to be overwhelming.
