Rosie Silva, LMHC, is a NYC–shaped psychotherapist serving high-achieving individuals and couples across New York, New Jersey, and Vermont through virtual sessions. Her practice centers on the inner lives of people who appear, from the outside, to be doing everything right, and who privately carry something heavier: a marriage that has lost its language, a sexual life that no longer feels honest, a grief that never softened, a longing for a child that has reshaped the body and the relationship. Rosie works with clients who are ready to stop managing symptoms and begin the slower, more honest work of understanding what their pain has been trying to say.

Clinically, Rosie specializes in sex and intimacy therapy, betrayal trauma, pornography and compulsive sexual behavior, couples work, complicated grief including loss to suicide, and the emotional terrain of fertility struggles and IVF. Her approach is integrative and body-informed, drawing on somatic experiencing, psychodynamic theory, attachment research, emotionally focused therapy, and parts work. She holds a Master of Education and a Master of Arts in Bilingual Psychological Counseling from Columbia University, and offers sessions in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, bringing a culturally attuned lens to clients whose stories often live across more than one language.

Rosie believes that lasting change happens not just through insight, but through reconnecting with what the body already knows. Her style is warm, direct, and deeply human. She builds a secure therapeutic relationship first, and from that place of safety, she challenges her clients toward real growth.

Rosie works exclusively via telehealth and accepts private pay clients only. She offers individual therapy, couples therapy, and several ongoing therapy groups including a Men's Connection and Sobriety group, a Life After Betrayal group for partners, and a Grief Circle for those carrying loss that often goes unrecognized.
