Ryan Scott Brewer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Yogi who holds dual Master’s Degrees in Spiritual Psychology and Depth Psychology. With over 15 years of experience studying the mind/body connection, Ryan works from an East/West perspective that blends the ancient healing practices of yoga and meditation with cutting edge neuroscience. He is trained in the trauma models TRM/CRM & EMDR, as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS), and is currently pursuing ongoing education in psychedelic assisted psychotherapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT).
Despite his extensive education and experience, it has been proven that the most effective component of therapy is the quality of the relationship between Therapist and client. Therefore, Ryan tailors each session based on the specific needs of the client or couple. Some people respond really well to EMDR, while others respond to inner child work. Everyone is unique, so their therapy should reflect that, however most sessions with Ryan will include a blend of compassionate listening and practical tools, so the client can feel really heard while also empowered to practice new skills to feel better right away.
