Mrs. Samarra Rogers is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, holding licensure in Virginia, Georgia, Maine, New Jersey and the District of Columbia. She specializes in serving women navigating anxiety and adjustment disorders during the transitions of their lives. Furthermore, she enjoys creating the space for women to also freely process through the anxiety that is triggered by childhood trauma consisting of contentious relationships as well as the guilt and people pleasing reactions it brings.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is her intervation of choice; however, she incorporates Biblical principles and techniques where needed which can provide deeper perspectives towards the understanding of a client’s life. She also utilizes Client-Centered/Strength Therapy which highlights a client’s strengths and assists with overcoming concerns of hopelessness, abandonment, rejection, self-esteem and anxiety.
