Professional statement

Sasha Pundruwillow helps clients heal what’s been broken, navigate life’s toughest moments, and build the kind of inner strength that lasts. With a warm, compassionate presence, she supports individuals facing depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress, using a blend of cognitive restructuring, conflict resolution, and holistic tools like meditation and breathwork to promote real, lasting change. Sasha’s approach is both grounded and intuitive, tailoring each session to what will truly help a person move forward, feel safe, and gain clarity.

She is a New York State-approved provisional mental health counselor and a graduate of Northwestern University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, with specialized training in child abuse and maltreatment. Sasha draws from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is optimistic and enthusiastic about helping people overcome life’s challenges, heal from emotional wounds, and grow into stronger, more empowered versions of themselves.

In addition to her clinical training, Sasha incorporates holistic mental health practices such as yoga, meditation, deep breathing, and chakra alignment to support mental strength, self-healing, and cognitive clarity.

Message to clients

Hi, I’m Sasha. I work with individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by anxiety, depression, trauma, or stress. I offer a compassionate, grounding space where you can slow down, feel supported, and begin reconnecting with yourself. My intention is to help you feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences while building the resilience needed to move forward.

My approach integrates CBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, ACT, and mindfulness-based practices such as breathwork and meditation. Sessions are tailored to what you need most in the moment—whether that’s emotional processing, practical coping strategies, or simply a place to be heard without judgment. I believe healing is not linear, and I honor the pace that feels right for you.

I am a New York State–approved provisional mental health counselor and a graduate of Northwestern University, with specialized training in working with trauma and abuse. I am deeply optimistic about people’s capacity to heal and grow, even after painful experiences. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and rooted in hope. You don’t have to carry everything alone, and I would be honored to support you on your journey.
