As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I help individuals navigate the challenges of trauma, identity, and self-worth with compassion and authenticity. My approach is grounded in both evidence-based practices and holistic perspectives, drawing inspiration from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment theory. I believe that there are no “bad parts,” only parts of us that are seeking to be understood, healed, and balanced.
I will work with you collaboratively to build understanding of your body’s messages by integrating mindfulness and embracing congruence between inner experience and outer expression. My practice is influenced by elements of Eastern philosophy, mindfulness, multicultural sensitivity and intersectionality. I also collaborate with clients using coaching and gamification strategies to help strengthen executive functioning, motivation, life skills, and goal setting.
I specialize in supporting individuals who have survived childhood trauma and as a result are facing relationship difficulties. I also have expertise working with clients with identity formulation, attachment issues, men’s issues, communication challenges, anxiety, PTSD, depression, ADHD, grief, and anger management.
