Professional statement

Shiran Glass, LCSW, works with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and long-standing patterns that feel difficult to shift. Many of her clients are insightful, high-functioning individuals who have participated in prior therapy yet continue to feel stuck, reactive, or disconnected. She also supports clients navigating major life transitions, identity exploration, and the lingering effects of past experiences.

Her therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, experiential, and depth-oriented, with an emphasis on creating meaningful and lasting change rather than symptom management alone. Shiran integrates Coherence Therapy and memory reconsolidation to help identify and transform the emotional learnings at the root of distress, alongside Havening Techniques® to support nervous system regulation and emotional safety. She also incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)–informed skills to help clients build practical tools for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness as they move through deeper therapeutic work.Sessions are collaborative, intentional, and paced to honor each client’s nervous system and readiness.

Shiran brings a strong professional foundation shaped by advanced training in trauma treatment, memory reconsolidation, and nervous system-based interventions. She is known for her attuned, thoughtful presence. In addition to direct clinical work, she has experience in supervision and management supporting other clinicians and supervisees.

Shiran offers both in-person and remote sessions, with telehealth available for clients seeking flexibility or virtual care.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’ve been carrying things on your own for a long time. My hope is that our work together feels safe, collaborative, and paced in a way that respects your nervous system and your lived experience. You don’t need to have a clear plan for what you want to work on—part of the process is discovering that together.

I work from a trauma-informed, experiential approach that focuses not just on managing symptoms but on understanding and gently resolving their deeper emotional roots. This means we’ll pay attention to patterns, emotions, and beliefs—somatic experiences that may have once made sense or helped you survive, even if they no longer serve you now. I aim to meet you with curiosity and compassion, never judgment, and to honor your resilience throughout the process.

I hope that our work will empower you to experience greater ease, clarity, and a stronger sense of connection to yourself and others.
