Simone Johnson, LMSW, works with adults of all ages, who are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or unsure when life began to feel so heavy. Many of the individuals she supports appear capable and put together on the outside while internally managing stress, emotional overload, relationship concerns, and periods of uncertainty or change. She works with stress and anxiety, boundaries, emotional regulation, self-esteem, identity shifts, and relationship strain.
Simone’s therapeutic approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. She believes thoughtful therapy happens in a space where individuals feel safe, understood, and respected. Drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, trauma-informed care, and attachment-based interventions, she helps people make sense of their experiences, develop emotional awareness, and build more supportive ways of authentically relating to themselves.
Simone also works with women through fertility, pregnancy, and the postpartum period, and her training as a perinatal doula informs how she supports individuals during these seasons.
Simone provides telehealth therapy throughout New Jersey, offering flexibility for those balancing busy schedules. She strives to create a therapeutic space that is real, affirming, and supportive—where individuals can slow down, speak honestly, and move toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being.
