I work with perfectionists, people pleasers, high achievers, disordered eating and those addicted to productivity. I work with clients to take a deep dive into the adaptive and troublesome effects of their inner perfectionist/people pleaser/achiever. My approach combines emotion focused interventions with relational interventions to help you understand the interpersonal function of your actions and behaviors. Through the safety of a reliable and compassionate therapeutic relationship, you may begin to feel secure enough to take new risks like being messy, disappointing others, tolerating fullness and finding moments of stillness.

Perfectionism, people pleasing, disordered eating and over achieving often evolve as a solution to deeper more vulnerable pain points. In therapy with me, we work together to identify the origin of your suffering and feel a profound appreciation for your adaptive solutions. This helps to make space for new ways of being with yourself and others.

Change is a hugely scary undertaking and must be supported by a solid, dependable, compassionate base. I aim to be that source of support so that you can begin to do the incredible work of self actualization and transformation.
