Professional statement

Stephanie Gill was born in Gillette, Wyoming. Her journey through life has allowed her to live in big cities and rural towns. Later in life, she received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2024 from Chadron State College. Stephanie works from a non-judgmental stance walking alongside teens, young adults, and even adults making big shifts in their own lives. Her experiences in the arts, marriage and motherhood has provided her with a deep desire to help others grow. To create a safe space to foster positive change has been rewarding but mostly, helping clients see their most genuine and authentic self takes front and center.

Stephanie believes that therapy should not be one size fits all. Here, she pulls techniques and skills from theories such as DBT, Internal Family Systems, Reality Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. Stephanie firmly believes that no matter the age, we all can learn.

Consultation Logistics:

In order to ensure that we are supporting you as best as we possibly can, our clinical coordinator conducts all consultations and intakes. This is to make sure that we have an availability that suits your schedule (as availability changes frequently) and that we are able to work with your specific insurance/plan.

Mind of Peace has a variety of therapists that are not listed on Zencare. As part of your consultation, our clinical coordinator will discuss more information regarding your concerns to ensure that you are paired with the best provider for your needs.

In order to book a session, Mind of Peace requires complete paperwork as well as complete and accurate insurance information to be verified by our team. Please be sure to have this on hand during your call. Once you have been established with our practice, please utilize our system for further communications.

Message to clients

So something has been pulling inside you? Causing some level of curiosity or even distress? Time has passed and you have decided “enough is enough, I think I need some help with this.” Let me just say, I hear you, I see you. Talking to a total stranger can seem daunting and even a little weird right? I completely understand. But guess what? You taking that step to come talk with me is incredibly admirable.

From here on out, I hope to walk alongside you. I believe you have more choice and power within you than you fully realize. I meet you with empathy and understanding. With openness and creativity. I believe that when we can come together, collaborate, empower, build resilience and even at times, humor, you will be able to soar, adapt, and build your mental capacity to take on future challenges. You and I don’t always have to have the answer, but true change will occur when we seek improvement and consider widening our perspectives. My hope is when life happens, you stand strong and say, “I’ve got this.”
