Professional statement

Titles don’t capture the whole human. I’m a clinical social worker and ecotherapist who shows up as a compassionate, active companion—curious about what truly matters to you and the possibilities you want to grow. I look at behavior within your whole system (self, relationships, work, community, culture) and we co-create workable practices that reduce suffering now and support durable change over time.

What sessions may include:

• Practical tools: communication resets, boundary work, values clarification, cognitive reframes, nervous-system skills

• Embodied/nature-based practices: breath and sensory grounding, mindful walking, forest bathing/Shinrin Yoku-inspired invitations, outdoor meditation (when appropriate)

• Gentle spiritual support: meaning-making, ritual, and intention practices—always at your pace and aligned with your beliefs

Nature-Based Offerings

• Ecotherapy & Walk-and-Talk (accessible routes or nature-adjacent spaces as needed)

• Shinrin Yoku / Forest Bathing (guided, evidence-informed nature-connection sessions)

• Outdoor Meditations & Sound Healing

Services

• Individual therapy (in-person & telehealth)

• Gender-affirming surgical readiness assessments & letters (collaboration with surgeons and insurers as needed)

• Nature-based therapy, Shinrin Yoku / forest bathing, outdoor meditation, sound healing, and seasonal celebrations

• Group Support: Tree House Sessions: An ongoing support group on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month. Participation by application to maintain safety and integrity of group.

LGBTQ+ affirming • Trauma-informed • Body-neutral and consent-centered • Culturally responsive • Nature-respecting and accessibility-minded

Message to clients

You are the expert on your life. My role is to help you sift through the stories the world has handed you—especially the ones that have grown into anxiety, depression, or self-doubt—and reconnect with what’s true for you. I’m serious about healing and also a little jovial; we’ll move at your pace with compassion and clear, doable steps. I draw on nervous-system education (polyvagal-informed), boundaries, communication skills, and embodied practices so you can understand what’s happening in your body and choose how you want to respond. I won’t suggest anything I haven’t practiced myself.

In our work, consent and pacing come first. We’ll start where you are, name what hurts, and build steadier self-trust one choice at a time. Together we’ll untangle patterns in relationships, soften perfectionism and people-pleasing, and create boundaries that honor who you are. I’ll offer language for what you’re experiencing, tools that fit your real life, and humor when it helps. You don’t need to be “fixed”—you deserve support that respects your wisdom and helps you feel more resourced, more connected, and more you.

When you’re ready, I’ll walk alongside you. We’ll notice what’s already working, make room for what’s tender, and practice the kind of care you can return to again and again.

Sliding Scale

Our sliding-scale exists to honor access and sustainability. It recognizes the real impacts of capitalism, racism, colonization, ableism, and queerphobia on who has resources and safety. You choose the tier that aligns with your current capacity — no proof, no gatekeeping, only trust and care. There are three levels of investment: Solidarity, Sustainable and Supported.
