Professional statement

Fierce Method Therapy, LLC, is for individuals and couples who feel stuck in patterns they can’t seem to change, even with insight or past therapy experience. Many clients arrive navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship conflict, or a broader sense of disconnection from themselves and others. This practice is a good fit for people who are self-aware but ready to go beyond understanding and into action.

The Fierce Method is an integrative, trauma-informed approach that helps clients identify ego-driven patterns and shift how they show up in their lives. Treatment begins with a detailed intake and ego mapping process, often using tools like the Enneagram to clarify personality dynamics and blind spots. Psychoeducation plays a key role in helping clients recognize how these patterns play out between sessions. From there, therapy focuses on resolving the gap between ego-based reactions and a client’s deeper truth, using a combination of EMDR, somatic practices, and parts work.

Dr. Stephanie Taylor, founder of Fierce Method Therapy, LLC, is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized training in EMDR, trauma-informed sex and somatic therapy, the Enneagram, and the Gottman Method for couples. Her approach is active, structured, and focused on creating lasting change at both cognitive and body-based levels.

Message to clients

Starting therapy is a big decision, and I know it often comes after trying other ways to create change on your own. My hope is to make this process as active and focused as possible. We won't just talk about insight. You'll learn how to notice ego-driven patterns in real time and build new ways of responding, both in and outside of session.

In our work together, expect to be challenged but also supported. I'll ask you to pay attention to what's happening in your body, to track how your mind defends against discomfort, and to stay with the work even when it feels difficult. This is how lasting change happens.

If you're ready for something deeper and more structured, I'd be honored to support you through this process.
