Professional statement

I am a licensed clinical social worker certified in EMDR, with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including teens, adults, couples, and families.

My passion lies in connecting with individuals to promote personal growth and equip them with essential skills to navigate life’s challenges. Throughout my journey, I have encountered trauma as a recurring theme, which inspired me to deepen my understanding of its effects and become trauma-informed.

I have received specialized training in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and spiritual practices. Additionally, I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), both of which empower clients to challenge negative thinking patterns and enhance their self-awareness through mindfulness techniques.

My areas of expertise include anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, panic disorder, and acute stress, as well as mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder. I also support clients through life transitions and relationship challenges.

Message to clients

I understand that seeking therapy can feel daunting, but I want you to know that I’m here to support you with empathy and understanding. I thrive on being interactive and enjoy challenging you to explore new ideas that can foster your growth.

My approach is rooted in my belief in the power of conversation. Talking can alleviate stress, release negative energy, and enhance problem-solving skills. This mission guides my work with clients: to empower you through meaningful dialogue.

I take a holistic approach by exploring all aspects of your life to uncover the root of your challenges. I am committed to working alongside you because I believe that a strong therapeutic alliance leads to the best outcomes.

To help you get started, I offer phone consultations where we can discuss my services and learn more about your unique needs. During our initial appointment, I will conduct an intake assessment to understand your background and history. From there, we’ll collaboratively develop a treatment plan tailored to your therapeutic goals.

I look forward to the possibility of working together on your journey toward healing and growth.
