Professional statement

Therapy is a collaborative partnership built on human connection. While life experiences may make vulnerability feel difficult, your decision to explore what lies beyond your comfort zone is a significant act of bravery.

Tiffany's approach is direct, transparent, and non-judgmental. By sharing openly and honestly, you can work together to relieve the stress of daily and significant life conflicts. You can create a personalized treatment plan designed to help you confidently embrace your authentic self.

As a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) in RI and MA, Tiffany has extensive experience working with individuals, groups, and communities. Her background in education and social work fuels her passion for providing knowledge and resources in an empowering way. She believes you are the author of your own story and possess the strengths necessary to overcome your unique challenges.

Tiffany has completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. This method aims to disarm conflicting communication while increasing intimacy, respect, and affection. Together, you can remove barriers to connection, foster empathy, and strengthen your relationship through shared goals.

Tiffany offers 5NP (ear acupuncture) in RI and MA to help relieve anxiety, trauma, and sleep issues.

Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling and peaceful life takes courage. If you would like to work together, please schedule a 15-minute initial consultation.

Message to clients

How uncomfortable do you have to be to make a change? It is human to be afraid of the unknown. Sometimes we know we need to make changes, but we aren't sure how, when, or even what specifically needs to change.

Whether you are navigating career challenges, relationship issues, coming out later in life, or managing existential questions, therapy can help dial down the noise so you can hear your inner wisdom. Sometimes we simply need an empathetic ear to help make sense of our stories.

I take a straightforward, goal-oriented approach to ensure your needs remain central to our work. My therapeutic practice typically integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles with a psychodynamic structure. For couples therapy, I utilize the Gottman Method (Level 2) alongside ACT. Sessions generally conclude with a specific activity for you to explore between meetings—such as journaling, meditation, or art therapy—to help move you toward your objectives.

If you are ready to change the direction of your story and this structure appeals to you, I would be happy to hear from you.
