Message to clients

Hi, I’m Dr. Tina Thach, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. I specialize in treating anxiety and depression, and I am committed to supporting individuals through complex issues including burnout, minority stress, life transitions, and trauma.

My therapeutic approach is culturally responsive, collaborative, and evidence-based. Depending on your needs, I will draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions to help you build practical tools to address the variety of challenges that can arise in life. For couples work, I am trained in Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy. Together, we will identify and work toward your personal treatment goals, build insight, and foster personal growth.

I earned my BA and MA in Psychology from New York University and my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Kaiser Permanente Oakland and my postdoctoral fellowship at VA Boston. These experiences provided me with a deeper understanding of the wide range of life events that can profoundly impact mental health and overall well-being. I strive to provide an authentic, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to move toward the life you want to lead. When you are ready, I look forward to assisting you on this journey.
