Professional statement

Tracy Blad is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), and AAMFT-Approved Supervisor offering telehealth therapy to adolescents and adults across Minnesota. With nearly 15 years of experience, Tracy has worked in diverse settings including private practice, community mental health, and active military bases.

Tracy brings deep expertise in supporting clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, work-related stress, domestic violence, and life transitions. She also has a strong background in child and adolescent therapy, as well as parent education. In addition to her clinical work, Tracy is the co-founder of a consulting firm, where she applies her therapeutic skill set to support entrepreneurs and business owners—further enriching her holistic and systems-oriented approach to care.

Tracy’s style is collaborative, grounded, and deeply respectful of each client’s inner wisdom. Her therapeutic approach blends mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and somatic practices to help clients address both immediate symptoms and underlying root causes. She views therapy as a space where clients feel safe, empowered, and actively engaged in their growth.

At the start of therapy, Tracy prioritizes building a strong foundation of trust and connection. She works with clients to ensure shared goals and a clear path forward, fostering a space where healing and self-understanding can unfold.

Message to clients

Starting therapy is a courageous decision. Choosing to open up to someone you’ve never met can feel intimidating—and that’s completely normal. Life often presents both expected and unexpected challenges, and sometimes the people closest to us aren’t equipped to offer the support we need, or we simply want space to process things separately.

In our work together, my hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can show up without judgment or shame—a space where you feel supported in exploring your experiences, honoring your story, and moving toward the most authentic version of yourself. I will always strive to support you in this process by staying focused on your goals for therapy, while also recognizing that life can be unpredictable and may require us to adapt together along the way.
