Message to clients

I understand the extent to which anxiety can take over your life, and my aim is to help you regain a sense of control. I often work with young adults and adults who struggle with excessive worry, panic attacks, obsessions, compulsions (e.g., reassurance-seeking, checking behaviors), uncertainty about the future, coping with change, self-esteem, and life transitions. My goal is to help you learn healthier ways of coping that will allow you to live a more fulfilling life, rather than your anxiety controlling your every move.

I have experience in outpatient and psychiatric hospital settings where I have worked with individuals in various life stages. I have worked in programs specifically tailored to treat young adults (18-26), adults, and older adults (65+), where clients have presented with issues such as mood, anxiety, personality, and co-occurring substance use disorders.

I approach treatment through a trauma-informed and person-centered lens, and work to foster an environment that feels warm and genuine. I value incorporating humor into my approach, and with that, believe therapy is a place where you should feel safe showing the full range of emotions. I hope that I can be a support for you through all phases of your life.
