Professional statement

Veronica Swink-Williams is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist providing virtual therapy to clients in California and Texas. She works with individuals, couples, and teens who want to love - and be loved - well, especially those navigating relationship challenges, emotional wounds, or major life transitions.

Many of Veronica's clients come to therapy seeking to deepen emotional intimacy, strengthen connection, or heal relational ruptures. She is especially passionate about working with people whose past trauma or emotional pain is getting in the way of present or future connections - whether with partner, family member, or themselves.

Veronica specializes in:

- Couples and premarital counseling

- EMDR therapy for trauma recovery

- Teen and young adult therapy

- Relational healing and emotional growth

Veronica's approach is warm, collaborative, and growth-oriented. She helps clients increase self-awareness, develop practical tools, and implement strategies to build healthier, more secure relationships. In her virtual practice, clients can expect a space where they feel both supported and gently challenged to grow.

Veronica earned her MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University and has clinical experience supporting individuals and families navigating crisis or trauma. Outside of therapy, she enjoys live music and spending time with her family.

She welcomes new clients and offers flexible virtual sessions across California and Texas. Veronica works with private pay clients and accepts Modern Health, LYRA, and Compsych.

Message to clients

On paper, life looks good. But something feels messy, disconnected, or just....off. The group chat can't fix your relationship issues, your "stuff" keeps showing up, and surface-level connections are getting old. You're starting to wonder if being "fine" is overrated.

Even strong, successful people need space to slow down, sort things out, and tune in. I offer therapy that's honest, reflective, and focused on what is most important to you.

You bring your story, I'll bring the tools. We'll sort it out together.

If something here resonates, let's talk.
