The Imagination Circle

Description

The Imagination Circle is a weekly virtual women’s group devoted to emotional growth, nervous system ease, and genuine human connection. Each gathering gently weaves together talk-based sharing with creativity, imagination, light movement, and experiential practices. Rather than pushing for insight or catharsis, the circle offers a soft, spacious environment where curiosity, play, and self-understanding can unfold naturally.

This group is trauma-informed, playful, and deeply human. You’re invited to explore your inner world through journaling, storytelling, imagination-based exercises, parts-work (IFS-informed), and simple somatic practices that support regulation and embodiment. We may also incorporate gentle movement, Qi Gong, and light role exploration or psychodrama—always optional, always at your own pace. No artistic experience or performance is required; creativity here is about expression, not skill.

The Imagination Circle is especially supportive for women who want emotional growth without intensity or pressure, who enjoy embodied and imaginative ways of learning, and who value warmth, authenticity, and shared reflection. It’s a place to soften, explore, feel less alone, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that come alive through play, presence, and compassionate witnessing—together.

Group Therapist

My work blends evidence-based trauma therapy with creativity, movement, and a deep respect for the mind-body connection. I believe healing doesn’t have to feel heavy or rigid to be effective—sometimes it includes curiosity, imagination, laughter, and moments of lightness alongside depth.

I frequently use IFS (Internal Family Systems) because we all have parts of ourselves that carry stories, roles, and wisdom. I also integrate EMDR, and find the combination of EMDR and IFS especially powerful for trauma work. Together, they allow us to process experiences while staying connected, resourced, and embodied.

Sessions may include gentle movement, somatic awareness, tapping, or energy-based practices when helpful. If traditional talk therapy hasn’t worked for you, my approach offers a different doorway—one that honors science and creativity. I bring structure and safety alongside playfulness and humanity, supporting clients in healing in ways that feel more natural, alive, and true to who they are.
