Professional statement

My work blends evidence-based trauma therapy with creativity, movement, and a deep respect for the mind-body connection. I believe healing doesn’t have to feel heavy or rigid to be effective—sometimes it includes curiosity, imagination, laughter, and moments of lightness alongside depth.

I frequently use IFS (Internal Family Systems) because we all have parts of ourselves that carry stories, roles, and wisdom. I also integrate EMDR, and find the combination of EMDR and IFS especially powerful for trauma work. Together, they allow us to process experiences while staying connected, resourced, and embodied.

Sessions may include gentle movement, somatic awareness, tapping, or energy-based practices when helpful. If traditional talk therapy hasn’t worked for you, my approach offers a different doorway—one that honors science and creativity. I bring structure and safety alongside playfulness and humanity, supporting clients in healing in ways that feel more natural, alive, and true to who they are.

Message to clients

Have you ever felt like you’re standing at the edge of change—knowing something more is possible, yet feeling held back by something hard to name? You’re not broken, and you’re not alone. I work with people who are ready for transformation and want support that feels safe, relational, and deeply human.

My approach is grounded in compassion, creativity, and person-centered care. We explore your experiences gently and collaboratively, using imagination, expressive practices, and curiosity to support healing. Along the way, we laugh. Play and lightness are not distractions from the work—they’re part of it. Healing does not have to feel heavy all the time; reconnecting with joy and humor can be profoundly transformative.

My hope is that you leave our work feeling more empowered, resourced, and connected to yourself. Together, we focus on helping you reclaim clarity, self-trust, and possibility, so your life and relationships feel more fulfilling, alive, and aligned with who you truly are.
