California Women’s Therapy is a team of female psychologists helping women to heal, grow, get unstuck and move forward.
Our work centers around the lives and experiences of women - the struggles, the joys, the challenges, the stories. We can guide you though your journey to overcome depression, anxiety, trauma, feeling lost, feeling stuck, low self-esteem, loneliness, challenges with substance use and addiction, and much more.
With nearly a dozen warm and highly qualified psychologists, there's an excellent chance we have the right fit for you.
Whether your goal is to heal from past trauma or further grow your emotional well-being, the psychologists at California Women’s Therapy are here to help!
California Women’s Therapy provides individual psychotherapy, couples counseling, and adult ADHD assessments to the women of California and their loved ones. We are especially passionate about working with women experiencing major life transitions and managing competing responsibilities and priorities.
Our therapists utilize a variety of evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, psychodynamic approaches, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to name a few.
Our initial screening process and free initial consultations allows us to match each new client with the right psychologist for them.
Our psychologists’ specialties cover a wide range of issues impacting women.
These include anxiety, depression & other mood disorders, trauma, adjusting to life’s many transitions (including the transitions to parenthood and menopause), caregiver stress, family conflict, parenting, relationship issues, infertility, grief and loss, as well as issues related to self-esteem and identity.
We also offer couples counseling and adult ADHD evaluations.
California Women’s Therapy is a team of female psychologists specializing in women's issues.
With nearly a dozen psychologists, we offer greater availability and shorter waitlists than smaller practices, while also offering a diverse range of therapeutic styles and approaches.
As a fully tele-health practice, all sessions are accessible via computer, phone, or tablet for easy integration into your daily life.
Our psychologists understand that women’s lives are filled with many roles, and we aim to make psychological services both accessible (with flexible scheduling options) and unique to the special needs of women.
If you choose to work with one of our psychologists, you will complete a credit card authorization form as part of the intake process.
For those paying privately, your credit card will be charged the full session amount immediately following each session.
If you have Out-of-Network benefits (PPO plans), we partner with Reimbursify to help you claim money back from your insurance company per your Out-of-Network benefits.
If you have traditional Medicare, Aetna, or United Healthcare/Optum and work with one of our in-network psychologists, we'll submit your claims directly to Medicare. Copays and/or coinsurance are charged to your card on file.
Likewise, if you obtain a single-case agreement, we'll submit your claims directly to your insurance provider and charge your copay to your card on file.
