FAQS

What services does your practice offer?

We specialize in working with Teens with emotional and behavioral issues, along with adults with issues related to trauma, anxiety, and depression. While we’ve worked with these populations the most, we have experience in several other areas such as issues related to relationships, life changing events, and is trained in EMDR.

What are your practice's specialties?

The therapists at Compass Mental Health Services, specialize in a variety of areas, including anxiety, depression, panic disorder, and trauma. We have a particular special interest in working with teens.

Why should I choose your practice?

Compass Mental Health Services is different from many other mental health service providers, in that all of our therapists have extensive training in the specialized areas that we work with. We’re also unique in that each of us has multiple years of experience working with our selected groups and modalities. We also like to focus on being somewhat of a small practice, so that we can maintain our focus and attention more specifically on the client and are able to give better care because we have a small smaller practice.

How does payment work at your practice?

We bill your insurance directly through electronic claims. Then, if there is a co-pay, we collect that from you directly at the time of service, and bill it through the app Square. For self-pay clients, we collect at the time of service and typically gather your payment information and bill it through the app Square. We do our best to be flexible with people and timelines of payment, including on going payment options if needed.
