Soho Psychology offers individual and couples therapy for adults (18+) in Lower Manhattan and online throughout New York. Our work supports adults navigating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, relationship challenges, perfectionism, burnout, ADHD, and major life transitions. Many of our clients are thoughtful, high-functioning individuals in their 20s and 30s seeking not only relief from distress, but deeper clarity, stronger relationships, and lasting change. Soho Psychology is in-network with Aetna and select major insurance plans. Many of our clinicians also work with out-of-network benefits and can assist with claim submission when applicable. Our administrative team is comprised of experienced, thoughtful, professionals. They provide clear, upfront information about fees and costs prior to your first appointment, ensuring transparency from the outset. We are committed to making the financial process straightforward and professionally managed. Many of our clients are thoughtful, high-functioning individuals in their 20s and 30s seeking more than short-term symptom relief. We have particular expertise in relational and developmental trauma, including work with adult children of emotionally immature parents. Our approach integrates evidence-based treatment with authentic, collaborative therapeutic relationships, helping clients ease emotional distress while addressing the deeper patterns that shape self-esteem, connection, and identity. We also provide couples therapy for partners seeking stronger communication, emotional security, and lasting growth. Across concerns, our focus remains steady: supporting meaningful, sustainable change that strengthens both inner resilience and close relationships.

Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
Family issues - Promoting communication and supporting family members to address challenges and reduce conflict and distress
Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating
